HACH sc1000 Display Module, Multi-Parameter Universal Controller

Modular System-The Hach sc1000 Multi-parameter Universal Controller is a fully modular system consisting of a Display Module and one or more Probe Modules. The Display Module and Probe Module must be ordered separately.

Display Module-The sc1000 Display Module is a full-featured controller with a large color touch-screen display. The intuitive, easy to use interface can be used for any number of parameters. One Display Module controls either a single Probe Module or a number of Probe Modules connected by a digital network. The Display Module is fully portable and can be disconnected and moved anywhere within the network. The Display Module must be ordered separately from the Probe Module.

Probe Module-Each sc1000 Probe Module provides power to the system and can accept up to 8 digital sensors. Probe Modules can be networked together to accommodate many more sensors attached to the same network. Only one Display Module is needed for a networked system. The Display Module must be ordered separately from the Probe Module.

"Plug and Play" Operation

There´s no complicated wiring or set up procedures with the sc1000 controller. Just plug the sensor into a Probe Module and it´s ready for use without special ordering or software configuration.

Mix and Match Digital Sensors

The digital sensors that can be plugged into the Probe Module can be any from Hach´s line of digital sensors-dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, conductivity, turbidity, suspended solids, nitrate, etc. Use them in any combination.

Ohmart Vega Vegapuls 68
For Bulk Solids Level Measurements

The VEGAPULS 68 uses electronics with increased sensitivity to achieve a strong return signal from solid materials. It is able to detect and evaluate echoes in low dielectric conditions at long ranges. It is available with a unique swivel antenna which allows for mounting to match the angle of repose created by fill or empty conditions.

The VEGAPULS 68 focuses microwave energy down to the measurement surface by using a metal horn antenna, or for very long measurements, a parabolic dish type antenna.

Wireless Data Network
Your field units communicate in a secure, digital protocol over a band of frequencies from 902 MHz to 928 MHz. This data communication technique has been the backbone of the military's secure communications protocols for many years. It requires no FCC site license. The multiple frequency transmissions, send-receive acknowledgements and built-in data redundancy have proven to be extremely robust.

Update Speed
Update speed is user-settable to match the needs of the application. The "Smart-Update" capability immediately initiates a message when a fault is detected. Otherwise a "Healthy Heartbeat" communication is initiated with the base radio on a regular interval to pass status and any new configuration information.

Range
Range up to 3,000 feet with omni-directional antenna. Other options are available to increase range.

Battery Life
Generally 5 years with factory default update speed and communication parameters.
